I’m so glad that you’re feeling this good. You certainly look like you’re over your transition–happy and restful. Congratulations, my dear! I’m so glad I spent the morning with you. I owe you for those scones, they were absolutely divine!
Also, love that we both wore lace on the same day. Did you notice that? I didn’t until I saw this photo!

When I was job hunting, I hated the uncertainty. I had resolved to treat it like doing hard time in prison, and spend my extra time pumping iron, but it was difficult not to obsess about getting a response to my many applications. I assume that they will call you on your cell phone, so you should go out, and try to enjoy your temporary freedom with thrifty activities. Easier said than done.

Thanks! I heard this one and was so into it, I drove to Chapters and picked up a copy of Johnathan Safran’s book. Although, I won’t be reading it until I leave my parents’ place – HUGE meat eaters – have a feeling I’ll be cutting down my meat intake even more so after reading his book.

I like your list. I love your comment about how the Domino’s pizza tastes exactly the same every time you have it. That’s part of the reason I love the Filet o’ Fish. It’s tasted exactly the same for 26 years. It’s uncanny really! In today’s world, that kind of consistency is comforting somehow.
